Former tennis superstar Serena Williams promoted the need for self-love when posting photos wearing a swimsuit after giving birth.
The former world number one female tennis player shared on Vogue in 2020 that she grew up with negative thoughts about body image. Serena said that all her life she struggled to accept her large body and felt self-conscious about not having a balanced body like her sister Venus.
“When I grew up with Venus, the standards of beauty were different. Venus was like the type of person who was easily accepted because she had long legs and a slim body.
