Draymond Green has more words for Skip Bayless after the talking head referred to him as the “dirtiest player in NBA history.” The NBA Champion responded on the latest episode of The Draymond Green Show podcast, where he took the back-and-forth to a more personal level.
On the heels of brutally disrespecting his show, Undisputed, and its allegedly lackluster ratings, he began to hit out Skip’s person, stating that he is simply “better than you at life.”
“Everybody skipping past Skip Bayless since Shannon [Sharpe] left him,” Green expressed. “And he comes out and says he’ll have me eating out the palm of his hands if I come on the show. I am not coming on your show, Skip. I’m going to keep skipping past you just like everybody else skipped on you. Because that show is dead, no one wants to hear you talk anymore… In the words of Richard Sherman: ‘I am better than you. I am better than you at life,’ I am just better than you. Skippin’ Skip.”
In classic Draymond troll fashion, he later turned around in his seat and called Bayless’ attention to his championship rings, neatly decorated around a shimmering gold NBA trophy. Green posed a question to the Fox Sports entertainer, questioning his life’s accomplishments with a flip on a popular JAY-Z line for an extra “razzle-dazzle,” asking, “You got one of these? Or any of these?… We don’t respect you, you need more people.”
And if you wanted an idea of how much it seems “everybody” keeps skipping on Bayless, Steph Curry even joined in to support his teammate’s sentiments. Curry, the man who usually flies above petty arguments, hopped into the Instagram comments of the viral clip and responded with a slew fast forward emojis, typing, “Been skipping!”
Skip Bayless first called Green the “dirtiest player in NBA history” in May during a taping of The Skip Bayless Show as he responded to the Golden State athlete’s remarks that he was the “biggest hater in sports media.”
The pundit ran down the multiple ways that Green has conducted himself unprofessionally on the court, saying, “Here’s the astonishing truth about Draymond Green. Draymond Green is, no exaggeration, the dirtiest player in NBA history by far. The dirtiest player in NBA history by far is Draymond Green. [Look up his] lowlight tapes of the cavalcade of Draymond Green’s dirtiest plays over the years… the cheap shots, the low blows, the dangerous plays. Draymond is the all-time cheap-shot artist.”
