One of Hollywood’s most popular shark movies “The Meg” will return with the next film. “Meg 2: The Trench” continues to revolve around the giant shark Megalodon with terrible destructive power, but this time, many other terrifying ancient creatures will also appear. 

The actor who appeared in the first film Jason Statham will return in the main role, leading his expedition team deep into the ocean. As the name suggests, this new film will take audiences to the Mariana Trench area, considered the deepest ocean trench in the world. 

With director Ben Wheatley’s idea, the Mariana Abyss is the door to the world of ancient giant creatures that have survived genocide for millions of years. Crocodiles, giant octopuses… or even tyrannosaurs, scary monsters along with the “final boss” Megalodon will continue to spread fear and excitement to the audience.
