Long-time fans of GH would remember the twisted times when Finola Hughes was pulling double duty as Anna and Alex Devane, recall General Hospital spoilers. Oh! what fun times we had watching Anna fight with antagonist Alex! However, it has been a long-long while since we saw the baddie last on the screen!

But-but-but, GH has a way of bringing these past characters back to the screen for some splashback. Uh, we mean flashbacks and throwbacks! General Hospital spoilers hint that something similar could be in works with the Anna and Alex story! What if the woman we think of as Anna Devane, is actually Alex? Hear us out!

General Hospital Spoilers tease that the whole pikeman drama is right in front of Anna’s eyes, and yet she can’t quite see it. Or even if she does see it, she isn’t really doing much about it. The real Anna would have kicked Valentin’s ass by now! Speaking of that, maybe real Anna was actually quite close to busting the case open.

Perhaps that’s what gave Valentin and Brennan a scare. The two may have orchestrated Anna’s kidnapping off-screen and could be keeping her trapped somewhere. Valentin’s love for her surely would not have allowed him to eliminate her. So, captivity it must be, point General Hospital Spoilers.

Knowing full well that the FBI is sniffing, Valentin may have canoodled with Alex to return and pretend to be Anna. Yes, yes, we know! Alex is supposed to be dead. But so are Jason, Sonny, Nik, and God knows how many more! Do we really need to get into the fact that Val’s bad-dad Victor may have been keeping Alex captive till now?

We do know how much Victor loved playing Kidnapper, recall General Hospital spoilers! Perhaps, Val has borrowed a page from his daddy’s playbook this time! But if that’s the case, for how long can he keep the real Anna under cease? She surely has the wits to break free soon enough!
